Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life is not my favorite movie, but this particular shot was interesting. The original screencap was so terribly dark, it needed to be lightened up considerably just to show it here.

Another fun time! I liked the green that I kept on one side of the face—perhaps it fits the character of Terry Sheridan (whom Gerard Butler portrayed in the film). Added highlights and altered the color scheme considerably.

Butler plays "The Stranger" in Dear Frankie. An absolutely wonderful film, by the way. Screencap was too dark (as they always are).

The warm colors were toned down considerably, because I wanted to reflect the muted color palette in the film. It's even got a little bit of an "overexposed" look to it, which I found pleasing. A few "painterly" filters were selectively applied as well. |

James McAvoy, so wonderful in Narnia, plays MacBeth in a modernized retelling of the Shakespeare play. I'm having to order the DVD (titled Shakespeare ReTold) from Amazon.co.uk because it's not available in the USA (yet).

This was so much fun to do! I did the typical adding of color to each side of the face (I like to do that, it seems) and then started using Photoshop's "Smart Blur" filter. These gave some interesting and pleasing effects. Highlights were added to the eyes in an attempt to keep the focus mainly there.
